The rate of new COVID-19 cases in Nebraska City is gradually falling, but the city's urgency in scheduling vaccinations is rising.
City Administrator Louis Leone is encouraging any resident over the age of 65 to contact their primary care physician to set up a vaccination appointment.
Leone said the state is in Phase 1-B of vaccine distribution.
